What is it like to perform on stage?: "When we take to the stage, everything else is forgotten. It's without question the best part of this business. It's like the first day of high school. You're leaving Jr. High and going to high school, you've got these butterflies but you're wanting to go and you're anxious to get there. We're not really nervous so to speak, but there's a tension in the air because you want to give it your best every night.
How did you become a part of Chely Wright’s band?: "I met Chely Wright's drummer in Arkansas. We played for about two months together, and New Year's Eve of 1998 he asked me if there was an opportunity to go to Nashville and be in Chely Wright's band, would I do it?" He told the drummer that he would go without hesitation. In January of 1999 his friend called and told him to get his things and come to Nashville the next day. He got on a plane met Chely and ended up being her new guitarist.
